Q: What is DOP?
“DOP” is the European Union and United Kingdom regulatory abbreviation for “denominazione di origine protetta,” or, in English, “protected designation of origin.” When a food-related product is granted this sought-after label, it means that under the penalty of law, that product is only allowed to come from one specific region. For example, think “Champagne,” which can only be called by that name if it comes from the Champagne region of France. Many of our Tutto Sicilia products feature DOP ingredients, such as Monte Iblei olives and Bronte Sicilian pistachios!
Q: My honey crystallized! Has it gone bad?
NO! This is actually how you know the honey is of the highest quality!
Most pure raw or unheated honey has a natural tendency to crystallize over time. Here’s how to reconstitute the crystallized honey: Place the jar into a saucepan and fill with enough water to almost reach the top of the jar. Now remove the jar from the pan. Heat the water over low to medium heat until it reaches 95-104 degrees F and remove it from the heat. Remove the lid from the honey and return the jar back to the pan. Let it stand for up to 30 minutes, occasionally stirring the honey so the heat is evenly distributed.
Q: Am I reading correctly the best-by dates?
The "best by date" on our Tutto Sicilia Sun Dried Tomato Paté, Sicilian Pistachio Pesto, Hot Pepper Cream, Sicily Orange Marmalade and Sicily Orange Blossom Honey are written European designation, as in: day/month/year.
The “best by date” on our Tutto Sicilia Sicilian Pistachio Cream is written month/day/year.
The “best by date” on our Tutto Sicilia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is written month/year.

Q: Do I need to create an account to shop at Tuttosicilia.com?
Creating an account is an easy and convenient way to save your shipping and billing information, and also view current order status and review past orders. Just click the Account tab in the upper right corner and click, Create Account. After completing the registration, you will be sent an email for verification.

Q: I can’t log in to my account. What should I do?
Make sure your browser is up to date or try resetting your password.
Q: How do I know that my order was placed?
Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the details of your order and a unique order number. Review the information to make sure it’s correct. If you don’t see the email within a few minutes of placing the order, check your junk mail or other folders.
Q: How can I check the status of my order?
After clicking on Account and signing in, you’ll be able to see your full order history, including your current order status.
Q: Can I purchase your products over the telephone and have them shipped?
We do not accept telephone orders.
Q: What are the payment options available for my purchases?
We accept major credit cards and digital wallets allowed on Shopify Payments.

Q: When will I receive my order?
Standard UPS ground deliveries times apply to US UPS zones. Hawaii and Alaska require 2nd air for shipping. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, APO, Guam or Puerto Rico
Q: What is your Warm Weather Shipping Policy?
From May to the end of September, sitting in a hot truck or warehouse can cause damage to the product. To preserve and protect the quality of Tutto Sicilia products, we will add ice packs and thermal packaging. A cost of $10.00 will be added to all orders for extra packaging materials. Customers in zones serviced by ground shipping in 1-2 days will remain at the same shipping speeds. All other customers will be asked to utilize 2nd day air.
Returns
Q: What is your online return policy?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of any food products. If there is a problem with your order or damage to a product, please email us at info@tuttosicilia.com.
Q: What if there’s a problem with one of the items I ordered?
If an item received is damaged, we want to know! We will issue a replacement or refund for the item. Email us at info@tuttosicilia.com with both a description and a photo of the damaged item and the original packaging. Shipping charges are not refundable.
