Featuring Tutto Sicilia hot pepper cream for that perfect kick, and topped with crispy air-fried tofu for extra crunch, these flavor packed noodles are the perfect blend of creamy, spicy, and irresistible.
Instructions
Cook noodles in boiling water and let it rest in it until soft.
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a large wok; add the veggies and stir fry them on high heat until tender and looks roasted with a few brown spots.
In another small bowl; whisk together the hot pepper cream, ginger, lemon juice, soy sauce, maple syrup and peanut butter. Stir this into the noodles until well combined.
Add the air fried tofu and finally toss the noodles with the vegetables and heat on medium until all ingredients are well combined and warmed.
Serve the Noodles with Peanuts and sesame seeds, topped with cilantro & basil.
Ingredients
- 300 grams Noodles of choice
- 1/2 head of Broccoli , cut into florets
- 1 Red Bell pepper , sliced
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- 1/2 block of firm tofu, air-fried
- 1 inch Ginger , grated
- 1 tablespoon Tutto Sicilia hot pepper cream
- 1 tsp Dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Vinegar or Lemon juice
- 1 tsp hot water to mix it all
- Cilantro & basil for garnish
- sesame seeds & roasted peanuts for garnish
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Oil
Ingredients for Air-Fried Tofu
- 1 package of extra firm or firm tofu
- 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon oil (I used avocado oil)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
Drain the tofu and press it down for at least an hour to remove the extra water. Cut the block of tofu into 1-inch square pieces.
In a shallow bowl, combine all the other marinade ingredients and mix. Add the tofu pieces to the marinade and move around to coat completely. Marinate for an hour.
Add the tofu pieces to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes, turning the tofu pieces midway through the process.
