Prosciutto & Parmesan with Sicilian Orange Blossom Honey

Prosciutto & Parmesan with Sicilian Orange Blossom Honey

Some things don't need a recipe. Just good ingredients, a board, and people worth feeding. The honey is what makes this — its floral sweetness cuts right through the salt of the prosciutto and the sharpness of the parmesan. Set it out before dinner. It won't last long.

ANTIPASTI

A board worth gathering around. The honey does everything.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Lay the prosciutto and Parmigiano onto a board or plate. Pour the olive oil into a small bowl for dipping.
  2. Spoon the honey over the prosciutto and parmigiano. Serve immediately with crusty bread. Expand the board as you like — salami, olives, figs, crostini, anchovies, Sun Dried Tomato Paté, fresh blackberries. There are no rules.

Nonna's Notes

Pour the honey a filo — a thin, slow stream over the top. Not a flood. Just enough to catch the light.
